WHY WE CARE
We created www.MyPastorSays.com because we Believe that:
- You and Most Americans Agree -- GOD has “Blessed” America
- You Disagree With Sen. and Michelle Obama, and their Pastor’s Comments
- You’re Looking For a Way to Tell Others How You Feel
Are you Offended by Sen. Obama’s Comments?
At an April 6th fundraiser in San Francisco, Presidential candidate, Barack Obama, gave us a little insight into his true thoughts about mainstream, middle class America. In essence, he thinks of us as bitter – clinging to our causes like “guns” and “religion” thus implying we are backwards and close-minded.
The press has called his comments “elitist” and condescending. Sure they are. Unfortunately, they also appear to be typical of Sen. Obama’s beliefs.
Rev. Wright’s Profane Condemnation of America was Appalling!
No doubt you -- like most Americans -- were also offended by the profane words of Sen. Obama’s spiritual mentor and former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
In speech after speech while preaching from the pulpit, Rev. Wright condemned the United States, accused it of terrorism and justified 9-11 as payback. And when speaking about Bill and Hillary Clinton, his comments included obscene gestures
Not only were Rev. Wright’s comments profane, they showed he has a smoldering hatred for America.
And Michelle Obama has been embarrassed to be called an American.
Apparently, Michelle Obama has also had a chip on her shoulder. She recently said, “let me tell you something, for the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country.”
The woman, who would be First Lady, has not been proud to be an American? Unfortunately, however, that big chip seems to have been on her shoulder for quite some time.
In her undergraduate thesis at Princeton she stated, “My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my ‘Blackness’ than ever before. I have found that at Princeton no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my White professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don’t belong.”...
For a couple that wants you to believe they are all about change, it is easy to see that the Obamas have an elitist viewpoint with predominant racial overtones.
Unlike Sen. Obama, We Can’t Sit By and Listen to America being Trashed.
Even more disturbing than the words spoken by Rev. Wright, however, is the fact that Sen. Obama, who hopes to be our next President, sat and listen to Rev. Wright’s profanity and divisive rhetoric week–in and week-out for years, without objection and without leaving that church. And, only when he was challenged in the glaring spotlight and public scrutiny of a Presidential campaign did he make a speech condemning such statements.
Even more disturbing than the words spoken by Michelle Obama, is the fact that her husband, Sen. Obama, who hopes to be our next President, counts as a friend, an admitted and unrepentant 60’s radical anarchist, William Ayers. Ayers has served on community boards with Obama, held a campaign event for Obama in 1995, and even gave money to his campaign.
In a perceptive piece by Steve Chapman, a Columnist with the Chicago Tribune, Mr Chapman stated:
Obama’s conduct exposes a moral blind spot about these onetime terrorists, who get a pass because they a) fall on the left end of the spectrum and b) haven’t planted any bombs lately.
You can tell a lot about someone from his choice of friends. What this friendship reveals is that when it comes to practicing sound moral hygiene, Obama has work to do and no interest in doing it.
Steve Chapman, ChicagoTribune.com, April 20, 2008
We are deeply concerned. If Barack Obama will not stand up to someone close to him, who would utter obscene, hateful, hurtful, and divisive epithets for the pulpit, if he and his wife truly believe (with all they have been able to achieve) that all middle class or white people are bigoted and need religion as a crutch, if he is willing to associate with terrorists who do not respect life or the rule of law, … what will he do when a nation, or a dictator, or a terrorist organization attacks us?
We Hope You Will Stand Against Such Statements.
Our website makes a simple but firm statement. Tolerating bigotry and hatred in close friends, associating with terrorists and displays of elitist condescension are not acceptable traits for someone who wants to be President of the United States.
Our bumper stickers are reminders that our faith is based on the knowledge that GOD loves all of us and desires that we each exhibit his character. Our message is a reminder of GOD’s Blessing and Love – as opposed to the hatred and condemnation expressed by Rev. Wright, the bitterness of Michelle Obama, and the condescension expressed by Sen. Obama.
