WHO WE ARE – WE ARE YOU
We are normal everyday folks just like you. We go to work 5 sometimes 6 days a week. We work hard, because we want to make a better life for our families. We have served in the military. We volunteer in our schools, churches and civic clubs. We have happy times, and sad. We try to take vacations, but life just seems too busy. We complain about taxes, but want to feel secure in our homes. And our kids, like yours, are being raised in a generation that faces unprecedented challenges. They’re bombarded, non-stop by a media that humanizes and trivializes GOD, trashes our country, and debases the values and principles on which this great nation was founded. – OUR FAITH IS CENTRAL TO WHO WE ARE One of the prime reasons we are you - is our faith. We go to church, or mass, or the synagogue and worship GOD our Creator. Our pastor, minister, priest or rabbi tells us of a GOD who LOVES us and wants to lift us up. We believe – like you – that one of the things that makes our nation truly unique is that regardless of whether we worship in a church, a cathedral, or a synagogue, whether we live in the North, South, East or West, we have the freedom to believe in GOD, the creator of the heavens and earth, in the way that we please. And we are continually amazed when we look around and see just how much GOD has Blessed our Nation. – WE ARE TIRED OF SITTING SILENTLY Even though we are taught to love those who would hate or persecute us, we sometimes get a little angry. In the 1976 movie “Network”, Peter Finch plays a washed up news anchor with poor ratings. On what is supposed to be the last night of his broadcast career he utters a prophetic statement when he tells his viewers to “Go to your window. Open it up. Stick your head out, and yell ‘I’m mad as heck and I’m not going to take it anymore’.” Well folks, we’re angry that a Minister would preach Hate & Bigotry from the Pulpit.
